What Schedule Builder covers

Schedule Builder is a focused sub-app for putting together staff schedules. When you enter it, the sidebar switches to show only scheduling tools so you can concentrate on the schedule.

The roster

The roster is your list of staff available to schedule. Keep it current — an accurate roster is what the shift scheduler builds from.

The shift scheduler

The shift scheduler is where you place shifts across the week:

1. Open the shift scheduler.
2. Assign staff from the roster to shifts.
3. Review coverage across the day and week.
4. Save the schedule when it is complete.

Leaving Schedule Builder

Schedule Builder runs as its own section. Use the navigation to return to the main platform when you are finished — the full sidebar comes back.

Schedule Builder vs the schedule matrix

Two scheduling views exist and they serve different purposes:

• Schedule Builder — where you create the staff schedule.
• Schedule matrix (under Labor Management) — where you review planned coverage against the labor budget.

Build the schedule here, then check it against budget in the schedule matrix.

Tip: More scheduler tools are planned. The section will show new options as they become available.
