Dashboard

Your daily overview of sales, labor, and weather-adjusted forecasts.

What the Dashboard is for

The Dashboard is the first page you see when you sign in. It gives you a single-glance read on how the store is doing today — actual sales so far, how labor is tracking, and what the weather-adjusted forecast expects.

The Dashboard overview

Reading the numbers

The Dashboard pulls together a few different views:

  • Sales today — the running total of sales recorded so far today, compared against the day's forecast.
  • Forecast — the weather-adjusted sales projection for the day. This is not a flat number — it is paced using a day-of-week weight (see the Glossary) and the latest weather.
  • Labor — how labor hours and dollars are tracking against budget for the day.

How the forecast works

The forecast you see is produced by the weather demand model. It blends temperature, cloud cover, and rain into an expected sales figure, then paces that across the month using each day's typical share of sales. For the full explanation, see the Weather Forecasting topic.

Day-to-day use

  1. Check the Dashboard at the start of your shift to see what kind of day the model expects.
  2. Check it again mid-day to compare actual sales against the paced forecast — this tells you whether you are running ahead or behind.
  3. Use the labor read to decide whether to cut or add hours (the Labor Management page gives you the exact guidance).

Tip: If today's actual sales are well above or below the forecast, head to Labor Management — the cut/add guidance there reacts to the same pace.
