Counting with the barcode scanner

The fastest way to count merch is the barcode scanner:

1. Open the Retail Merch Inventory page.
2. Scan an item's barcode.
3. Enter or confirm the quantity on hand.
4. Move to the next item and repeat.

Scanning avoids hunting through a list and reduces the chance of counting the wrong product.

Manual entry

If an item will not scan or has no barcode, you can find it in the list and enter the quantity by hand.

Merch history

The merch history view shows past counts so you can see how merchandise stock has moved over time.

Tip: Count merch on a regular cycle so retail stock stays accurate and you can reorder popular items before they sell out.
